Keep taking it out and re-inserting back in with it turned on (a bit dangerous, be careful.) Sooner or later you'll get a message asking you if you'd like to format your hard drive to fix the problem... accept and it'll re-format your hard-drive, you log in details would still be there but all other stuff will get erased. It worked for me, hope it works for you. Take care.

On our PS3 corrupt data message

Replace the hard drive as the data may be in a bad sector. I would suggest you use the sony method of carrying this out and not doing it yourself as it can viod the warranty or if you want to just purchase another hard drive.

the data is in a bad area of the disk and thus cannot be recovered. Now you can try something cleaver by take out the hard drive and run spinright on it you can get spin right at now i know for a fact spin right does repair corupted data by moving it out of the bad sector.

Replace the disc itself these people at witch I found in our directory does save this kinda stuff.

So your pretty much have two choices here.

Thanks and I do hope this was Very Helpful to you!

Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at

The following message is displayed: "System hard disk file system is corrupted." What does this mean.

It means that your hard disk drive needs to be reformatted. You get this error when the system shut off while data is being saved on the hard disk drive.

A disk read error occurred, press ctrl-alt-+delete to restart

Hello Sir

I am afraid that the hard drive is corrupt. It needs to be reformatted and reinstalled. There is also a good possibility that the hard drive will need to be replaced I am afraid. To make sure ask the technician or who will attend to it to disconnect the hard drive from your laptop. Plug it in an enclosure and copy all of its contents before reformatting. IF IT DOES WORK then don't let them trick you that it needs to be changed as it is just a case of corrupt files and a reformat / reinstall will do it good. In this manner you hit 2 birds with one stone and you get things back up and running :)

Hope that this solution helped you :)

Best Regards
Alx :)

ERROR MESSAGE: Corrupted CompactFlash card.

Storing digital picture information to a CompactFlash card (as when a digital image is taken) is similar to storing data on the hard drive of a computer -- if the process is stopped or interrupted, the information stored is not complete and, therefore, "corrupts" the storage media. A computer will display a warning message indicating that the hard drive has errors, while a camera will display a message indicating the memory card is corrupted. The CompactFlash card corruption can be caused by: * Turning off the camera power before the photo information is completely stored on the card. * Removing the card before the photo information is completely stored on it. * Taking a second picture before the camera has finished storing the previous picture. * Camera batteries that are near the end of their life and need to be replaced. Once a CompactFlash card is corrupted, it can be used again only by performing a Format procedure. IMPORTANT! When a CompactFlash card is re-formatted, any pictures stored on it will be lost forever and cannot be recovered.
