I have an old iPad 2. Should I clean out all the old "cookies". Will this speed up my iPad ?. How do I delete cookies ?. Any suggestions...thanks

Clearing Cookies is done via clearing Internet History.

Open Safari, click on Bookmarks, then on History, then Clear at the bottom, then All Time.

You can also go Settings, Safari, them Clear History and Website Data which clears a few extras.

The only way to speed up a iPad is to reload the operating system by doing a Factory Restore. The clears everything off and starts afresh. If the iPad is older than a couple of years, the software updates you take slow the older models, as the software is designed for newer models with faster processors.

How do you access the cookies folder in vista???

Hi there,

Here's the easiest way.

Hold down on the Windows Logo button on the keyboard and then press the R key., A command window will open so paste in this line,

C:\Users\User Account Name here\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies\

delete the "User Account Name here" between the slashes and put your Username there. Then hit enter and the Cookies folder will pop right open.

Have a good day.

To rename the Windows Update temporary SoftwareDistribution directory, follow the steps that are appropriate for your operating system:

Important The following issues occur when you do this: • Updates that are currently downloaded but that have not yet been installed have to be downloaded again by using Windows Update or Microsoft Update. • When you delete the Software Distribution folder, your download history is removed. • If you currently receive updates from Microsoft Update and from Windows Update, you will have to re-select this option from the Windows Update Web site. If you cannot rename it or delete it restart the computer in windows safe mode and delete that folder
