Locked t.v. (sva c86b model) cant open without remote is lost

You did not remark which make and model TV you are referring to, but most universal remotes can control most multiple devices: TV, VCR, DVD, Stereo, Satellite Box, etc. I would suggest getting one of these as buying an original remote would most likely be a lot more expensive. These remotes include instructions and program codes to enter for programming all your devices.

Hope this helps!

Lost remote

Philips makes several universal remotes that are sold by stores like Walmart and Target. Look for one that has a menu button so you can access all the functions of your TV. You may not even have to program the remote if its made by Philips.

My menu and input buttons don't work for my RCR311B remote control.. please help ASAP!

Try searching for codes online, I have found some sites that have remote codes that I could not find in any of the books that came with universal remotes. There has to be a code that will let u use this remote fully functional. Your not doomed there is always an alternative solution.

I have a sanyo cbp 2152 tv. I have lost the remote and the manual through a house move and need to retune the tv. All attempts so far have failed Can you help

first thing you can do is set the antenna at the back of your tv set, and try to find the menu botton and set to the auto search program. remember if the signal is very weak it can not tune in and save the channel properly

Can't use tv without remote

There are many TV's that require a remote to operate them.

Are you saying your remote is lost or broken?

If that's the case, and you don't wan't to purchase an original replacement, you could try a universal remote.

Many 'universal' remotes come pre-programmed or can be programmed by entering codes for the make of TV.

Hope this helps.
