Garmin NUVI 350 only loaded Southeast States Want all 49 states

Try using a compatible SD card to have Garmin Express load all 49 states to the SD card. It is possible that you do not have enough free memory in your NUVI 350 for all 49 states.

Nuvi 350 no sound

Check to see if you have sound with headphones. If so, you have a bad speaker. If not, you have a broken connections between the headphone jack and PC board. More information can be found here:

Garmin 350 cannot charge and nav at the same time

Your battery is faulty. Did it come with an AC Charger? Ac chargers do a better job than the car Dc which really only manages to maintain a reasonable level of input. i suspect your internal batter is critical and either needs a thorough charge or replacement

Garmin 350 no sound

Please read this article I wrote on this problem.

http://www.fixya.com/support/r1091233-no_sound_or_garbled_sound_garmin_nuvi

Taking apart the Nuvi requires the right tools. There are delicate flex cables for the LCD, touchscreen & antenna inside. They can be easily damaged if your not careful.

Having worked on Nuvi's, I have never found a loose wire for the speaker. It's possible, but not probable. More likely you have a intermittant voice coil. Please read my article to further diagnose your Nuvi problem.

Sound Breaks up on my GPS if I raise Speaker over medium

Try listening with headphones rather than the internal speaker. If you can hear the sound in the headphone jack clear with the volume all the way up, then the internal speaker is bad.

Garmins Nuvi 350 - voice interactive lost

I have the same problem with my Nuvi 350. It's only about 2 months old and the sound went. I turned it on the other day to use it and the sound did not sound right, it sounded like the speaker was blown. I turned it off and turned it back on and that was it, the sound was gone. I did everything possible and can't get the sound to come back. I called Garmin and now I have to send it in for repair. I looked around the web and noticed that Garmins have big issues with the sound going on the units. I hope they fix that issue.

Nuvi 350 blown speaker

When you tap the GPS it is probably doing one of two things:

1. The tapping is temporarily reconnecting the broken voice coil in the speaker (speaker will need to be replaced)

2. The tapping is temporarily reconnecting a bad solder joint from the GPS motherboard to the speaker. (The solder joint will need to be resoldered)

You can either send the unit back for repair or purchase a FM modulator and retrieve the audio through your FM car stereo.

You can purchase an external FM modulator like those used on IPODS and CD players. I am using one on my Nuvi 350 and it works well. Just plug it into the headphone jack. Advice: Be sure to buy one that is crystal (PLL) controlled and NOT using a tuning dial. The FM modulators that use a tuning dial often tend to drift and they will also change frequency when you hit a bump in the road.
If you decide to send it back for repair, be sure to have your serial number handy. Register it online https://my.garmin.com/mygarmin/marketing/register.htm
if you haven't already done so.
