Hi, i bet it will be very difficult for most people of this generation to have an idea about a 50 years old electric oven which is probably older than most of us which is also very different from the modern day electric oven.
My candid advise for you is to call in a seasoned and experienced technician to check and fix it..

Take care

Hi.

I have seen same problem in built in magic chef ovens.

You can reset the control board by tripping the circuit breaker for a couple of minute. Disconnecting power will reset the control board as this oven electronic board do not use NVRAM memory.
On some model you have to hold down the knob or the clear button for few seconds after connecting power back.

If that does not work, and the oven is not responding, then the electronic control board may be faulty.

If oven does not heat, but the rest is functional, then the fault is likely the temperature probe, located inside the oven cavity.

In that case the oven must be disassembled and tested by a technician.

I have a Sauter oven. When I try tuning it on nothing happens. No light,no fan,no heat. The clock display seems OK.I tried pressing the menu button several times.Nothing helps. What can be the solution?

I should suspect the fuse or circuit breaker that is supposed to power the oven if turned off.
It could be nothing more than a power surge from a lightning strike somewhere.
Find the electric box and check it out.
If the fuse or circuit breakers panel is good, remove the oven and check for current at the wiring that goes from the oven to the fuse/circuit breaker box.
If all that tests good, you have a problem with the oven control.
It may be "toasted". (No good)
God bless your efforts.

Belling evolution 152 main oven stopped working and clock gone out.

Have you checked the power source to the oven? Has the cord come out of the wall plug? Has a circuit breaker tripped? Once the obvious things are checked and proven good will it be necessary to dig into the interior of the appliance.

GE Dualwave Mirco Oven combo - Oven works fine - Micro doesn't even show the clock

There is a very good chance that it has blown a fuse. They would be located behind the control panel. Be careful around the wiring to the high voltage circuit and make sure that the power is shut off.

My oven is dead - no display, no nothing. Circuit breakers are fine. Turned them off overnight, still nothing on oven this morning. This happened about a year ago but oven came on again ten minutes...

What you need to check is for power at the clock.TURN OFF BREAKER gain access to clock and use volt meter. One the clock will be wires maked L1 & N on those 2 wires when breaker is turned back on their should be 120 vac. IF 120 vac at those 2 wires, replace the clock, if not 120 vac into clock check for burnt/broken wires

What is blue wire on ge built in oven for

The blue wire goes to a seperate 15 Amp circuit breaker or fuse.
This breaker should be powered by the L1 (black) supply feed in the breaker box. The circuit supplies power to the display and control buttons. The red and black wires go to a double ganged 20 Amp breaker. Check inside the oven back cover for a wiring diagram.

Jenn-Air Gas Range SEG196 NO CLOCK/DISPLAY

THE ONLY SOLUTION FOR THE BAD DISPLAY IS TO REPLACE THE CLOCK. I HAVE A JENN AIR OVEN TODAY AS A WORK ORDER TO REPLACE THE CLOCK FOR A FAILED DISPLAY.

FOR THE JGW8130DDB WITH NO POWER ANYWHERE, IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE A SUPPLY PROBLEM. MAKE SURE THE WIRING IS HOOKED UP WITH THE RED AND WHITE WIRES RECEIVING 240 VOLTS AND THE WHITE WIRE ATTACHED TO NEUTRAL / GROUND.IF THE OVEN HAS A BARE COPPER WIRE AND THE HOUSEHOLD WIRING ONLY HAS THREE WIRES, COMBINE THE WHITE WIRE AND THE COPPER WIRE TOGETHER AND ATTACH TO THE HOUSEHOLD NEUTRAL / GROUND .
UNLESS YOU ARE SURE ABOUT THE HOOKUP IN THE BREAKER/FUSE BOX, DO NOT GO SIMPLY BY THE COLOR OF THE WIRES.

No power

First thing to do is pull the oven and check if there is 240 volts going to the oven. The display works off 1 of the 120 volt legs of the 240. If you have the 240 volts, then your issue is with either the display or relay board.
