Green tint to picture.

Are you using the componant connection on your tv? If so, check the red, blue and green cable connections on both ends. They carry your
picture info to the tv. The audio is carried by a red and white cable. There should be 5 cables for a componant connection. 2 reds, 1 white, 1 blue and 1 green. I hope I have guessed your problem correctly and this helps you.

Picture is OK, but colors are off and there is a blue star background that shows on dark colors.

Hello, With most rear projections there is usually an alignment to do with the set up with your TV. This is so the red, blue and green projectors align together to give the correct colouring. This sounds to me what may be causing the outlining of the blue. This can also make it seem off colour. Look in the set up menu of the tv and see if you can find this alignment feature. Usually a cross will appear and you move a blue, red, and green cross with the arrows on your remote to align over the original white one. If this does not work, it may also mean that one of your projectors, that is the red, blue or green one may be failing causing the off colouring. Hopefully this alignment may fix it for you.

Very dark picture on TV

Try restoring all factory settings. On your remote, press the reset button twice. If that doesn't correct it, then you'll probably need a repair technician. For more info, consult your owners manual, which is also available at

Curved blue lines on screen.

You have a completely different problem. The screen voltage for the blue picture tube is slightly too high on your set. This will put fine lines in the background of the picture, called retrace lines. This is very common and easy to correct. Remove the front speaker cover and the access panel behind it. Look inside and you will see a black box with six controls, each control having a little white glue on it. This is the Focus/Screen block. Three controls are labeled Focus and three are labeled Screen. The screen control in the center is for green but I am not sure if the screen control on the left or right is for blue for your model. With the TV on, set it to VIDEO 1 but do not connect anything to the VIDEO 1 jacks. This will produce a pure dark picture, showing any faint lines in the background. Choose one of the screen controls and increase (turn clockwise) it slightly. If the blue lines do not get brighter it means you are turning the red screen control, so put it back where it was and choose the other screen control. When you find the blue screen control, decrease (turn counter-clockwise) it until just when the blue lines are gone. If you want you can check that the red and green screen controls are set to just below the point where their faint lines are visible. When done, replace the panels and your picture will be back to perfect.

try this

use the advanced options page and reset the factor blue and red convergence defaults then do re apply the auto color defaults color at first it seemed very red (which is good because red was the missing factor in the green picture) but after reseting all the color and tints to the normal ranges I then reset the color auto correct again and all seems fine.
