Hi,
If there is no LED on, then the most likely reason is, that your wii isn't getting power. So the problem, is with the plugs, and the power adapter. If you have a friend who has a wii, try testing his power adapter on your wii. Make sure your cords are completely plugged in, on both sides, (the outlet and the wii) then press the power button on the wii. If that dosent work, try turning it on with one of your wiimotes. If that dosent work, that means your wiimote is not syncronized with your wii. To sync. it, open the sd card cover on the front of the wii, press the red button above the sd card slot. Then open the bottom of your wiimote, (where the batteries are) and press the small red button that should be beside the batteries. Then hold the wiimote close to the wii, then after its done flashing, press the power button on the wiimote and also, try plugging your power cord into another outlet. If it still won't work, you've got a broken wii, so you better send it to get replaced or fixed, again as suggested. DON'T OPEN IT! You could loose your warranty if you open it, so it's safest not to. Hope you get it to work.

Tip

Everything is plugged in but your Wii won't turn on

Okay so you have everything plugged in, but all of a sudden your Wii won't turn on, right? Maybe there was a power outage or your circuit breaker was flipped, or maybe nothing happened, but the fact remains that it won't work and you don't know why.

There is a decent chance that your Wii's power cable needs to be reset.

To reset the power cable you need to:
1) Unplug the power cable from the Wii and the wall.
2) Let it sit and rest for 10-15 minutes.
3) Plug everything back in.
4) Turn on your Wii.
It should work at this point if that is the problem.

It may sound silly but Nintendo built in the reset mechanism due to power cable failures and it often is the resolution to a Wii not turning on.

Good luck!

Wii won't turn on.

Reset the AC adapter by following steps below.

1. Unplug the Wii AC adapter at both ends (from the back of the
Wii system and from the wall outlet or power strip).

2. After you've waited a full 2 minutes, plug the AC adapter back in on both ends and check to see if the power light comes on.

Wiis seem to have a problem with power surges. I would start by trying to find a replacement power adapter.

http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=wii+power+adapter&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=1392311665554088143&sa=X&ei=D2RmTr2ODsTosQL3mvDQCg&ved=0CFEQ8wIwAQ

Hopefully that will fix your issue.

it could be the power suppy mine went wrong after about 18 months, try ebay there the cheapest. you can test if its the power supply if you know someone with a wii and use there power supply or know how to use a multi meter and check if you have a voltage coming out of the wii plug end. if you dont first try replacing the fuse in the wall plug. hope this helps.

My wii will not turn on

try syncing the wii and the remotes. there is a small red button on the wii covered by a small door. and as for the wii remote, there is a small red button where the batteries are located. hold them down for at least 10 seconds i would say and then try turning it on. good luck.

When this same thing happened to me, I unplugged the Wii power supply from the wall (not just from the back of the Wii) and let it sit unplugged for about 10 minutes. When I plugged it back in, everything was fine.

Wii Console tun off

Turn it off at the mains, wait 10 seconds then plug back in.

If it keeps happenning you might have a scratched Wii Play disc, or your machine may be faulty.
