Question about Maytag M7DH65B2A Dehumidifier
I have a Maytag Dehumidifier Model M7DH65B2A that does not cut off when it reaches the humidity level that I have set.
I have the same unit and found that a sensor that attaches to the evaporator and the attachment holding it to the coil rusted away. Made a new clip from copper tubing and now it works again.

Either the humidity control is no longer calibrated, the control knob has been removed and replaced on the control shaft in the wrong position(if its a round and not not a "D"shaft control) or the coils, both evaporator and condenser are dirty
