Please advice where to repair AKAI GX-R66 StereoCassette Deck. The problem is with the deck's head mechanics.Rewinds tape back and forth normally, but doesn't respond to Play button.

If it deck doesnt react at all (no movement or sound) the play-pushbutton could be defect.
If the servo does react (click sound) try cleaning the belt and wheels attatched to the long, small motor that is closest to the power supply circuitboard. It has a small white wheel driving a large black wheel with segments.
If this does not do it then remove the motor-screw closest to the (left) side of the deck, turn the motor a bit upwards (increases tension on the belt) and fix motor again in the newly appeared hole.
If this still is not enough, rotate the belt 180 degrees so you get a mobius ring loop. This further increases belt tension.
If this still doesnt work, replace belt, rough up the motorwheel or start praying.
Hope I helped you. Eric.

I have two albums that do not work on my mp3 player i try to play it and it says format error but i can still listen to music on laptop

This means that the files are the wrong type. Your computer can play multiple formats of music like, mp3, wma, m4a but your mp3 may not be able to play all those. So make sure they are in the same format as the others.

Onkyo605 stopped outputting Video after installing HDAV1.3 sound

If you didnt change any of the inputs going to the onkyo. I would check the input setup. I dont know what input you have your pc connected to on the onkyo, i'm guessing that your using a hdmi cable. make sure you have hdmi selected as your input type not component video or any other. That model doesnt upconvert anything to hdmi. Also some dvi-d to hdmi dont play well wih onkyo.

HELP ME PLEASE-STEREO PROB.-

I'm assuming that these are not the usualy 1/8 inch jack earphones... are these usb earphones? if so (if using xp) check the settings in the control panel/sound and audio devices/audio tab...then in the "sound playback" section, see if the headphones are given as an option...if so select them and hit okay. Make sure that there are no audio applications open when switching. Hope this helps.
