the model # is 417.44102300 it use to just freeze @ the end on final rinse and spin and the last cople times we tried to use it, it went through the wash cycle and froze on rinse and after that it just freezes on any cycle and the spin wont even start manually now,i took out the pump and it didnt look dirty or clogged had a couple quarters in the flex boot but thats it

do u have any fault codes showing in the washer digital display? if so what are they.

    yadayada May 13, 2010

there are really only 2 things that cause this problem, one is the washer control board, the other is the motor control board, my guess would be the main control (that is the display and buttons) is defective. does the washer drum move freely? Please take the time to answer each question as clearly as u can. thanks

  • eddie_sparks May 13, 2010

    yes the drum spins freely

since there is no 100 for sure way to know if the motor control board or the motor control board is at fau;lt this comes down to a eduacated guess that the problem is the CPU, this is the main circuit that u use to set cycles

please also read this link, do u think u may has missed something as far as the drain being clear goes?

  • eddie_sparks May 13, 2010

ok i was going mostly on my wife telling me how it was doing so i decided to go out and do an evaluation myself ,i started by removing the pumpand hoses and made sure there were no blockages and there wasn,t,, i also didnt see a filter on mine ,it looks as though this washer has been worked on before by the way the screw heads had wear on them, after putting it all back together i started the machine on reagular wash ,it began filling with water and stopped shortly after starting, the timer never moved ,so i advanced it each notch after waiting a few minutes and it not changing itself,,all it would do was pump water in and pump water out but never aggitated or spin does this help a little with what you need

Washer will not complete full cycle and is holding water in the basket?

What part of the cycle is the washer sticking on? It sounds like you either have a timer problem or possibly a water valve problem. There is even a chance that it's the lid switch not allowing the washer to spin water out.

Does it go into spin ever? If so, does it stop at the rinse cycle every time?

Let me know and I'll help you diagnose further.

Washer sticks on wash cycle; runs continuosly on spin cycle

That sounds like you have one of them fancy water saving outfits with a diverter valve that dumps the pump water continuosly over the clothes. Weirdest washer I ever saw. Could be the solenoid that opens the drain pump has failed. Don't know too much about em but I do have the service manual. Post your model number for a more precise answer. Kenmore Elite HE3t 11042922200 Front Loading. F02 drain Problem

We experienced the same thing. I was able to restart and locate the noise to the water pump. After disassembling the water pump found the impeller shaft sliding out. For some reason this shaft will not stay in place. Had to order a complete pump assembly as the electric motor is not available.

Front loader wont agitate or spin, but it fills with water and pumps water out

likely the lid switch is bad - if not the ECU/timer is.

Kenmore front-load washer stops at rinse cycle

When the washer initially fills for the wash, is it only hot water entering the drum? Try switching the water temperature between hot and cold as it fills. If any of them show little or no water getting through, it sounds too easy but check to make sure water supply taps are on, and that the cold/hot fill hoses aren't reversed. Remove the fill hoses and check any of the screen filters for blockage (in the hoses and in the inlet water valve). When the machine stops and waits to fill but all you hear is a hum, it sounds like there is power going to the valve but water is not able to get through it.
Good luck!

Will not advance to the rinse and spin cycles...

The buzzing can only be that the pump if sticking or the inlet valve is sticking, other than that it is lack of water supply. Regards Advisor
