SOURCE: Ryobi SS30 trimmer starts fine and runs at when in full choke position to about half choke position. But when I put the choke lever to the full run position, it stalls out. Ryobi ss30 same problem of

You need to rebuild the carburetor. You will need to go to an outdoor power & equipment store of some kind to get a carburetor kit for your specific trimmer. It will come with various gaskets, (some of which you won't use), a needle valve, and a small screen that goes in the carb. Replace all old parts with new. New primer bulb is sold seperately. When you have the carb. apart, you will also need to clean the small ports with a Den Tek Brush (used for cleaning teeth). Use carb. cleaner when cleaning.

Starting proceedure for 72 evinrude outboard?

  • Check all connections , fuel, battery, etc
  • Squeeze primer bulb until firm
  • Lift choke switch , listen for operation (click)
  • Raise idle speed lever, not too much, be prepared to lower quickly if engine starts to over rev . (remember, this is a 1972, it does not have much for safeties.)
  • lift and HOLD choke switch
  • Turn key to crank
  • release choke when fires
  • if running, you may have to flip choke switch again until it warms up.
  • watch idle speed as 2 cycles can "run away"
  • Hope this helps
  • All of this assumes the motor is in the down position and IN THE WATER or hooked up to a flush device.
  • NEVER start the motor without water going to the gear case(water pump)

Toyota Prado 97 (petrol). Can jump start but has loss of power when put in gear or lights, whipers or anything else turned on. Battery indicator says ok.

It sounds like you might have a bad alternator. You can't always trust you gauges. Jump it off again and check the voltage at the battery. You should have 14 volts. If it is less then that you have a bad alternator. Good luck.

What would cause a choke lever to stick. I have a 1995 suzuki katana 750gsx and the choke lever will not move at all. I had to jump the bike to get it started, after getting it started i let it run for...

IT sounds like the choke is stuck in the on position. You need to inspect the cable and make sure it is free to operate or moves freely. Check down by the carberators and follow the cable back up to where it originates from and see if the thing moves freely at the top and bottom. If not the easiest thing to do is buy a new one and install it or Lube the cable you have and see if you can free it up by using some break free or other lubricant like WD-40 and spray the heck out of the thing.

GOOD luck and let me know how things turn out... Sincerely HDTV GURU JAY

How to start the blower friend lost manuel

I am going to presume this is a gas blower.

1. Make sure you have the properly mixed oil and gas in the fuel tank.

2. Put throttle lever setting to choke or start.

3. Press primer bulb 4-5 times, until it gets stiff and feels full.

4. Pull cord until the unit starts or at least sputters.

5. Put the choke lever to the 1/2 way point and pull rope again. Should start. When it has run 30 seconds or so, put choke to the off position.
