Question about Sanyo Audio Players & Recorders
Hi - my clockradio keeps time fine when the power is on, but loses time rapidly when on backup. The battery is new, replaced several times to confirm. Please help!
SOURCE: My alarm clock seems to
The quartz from the clock is very sensitive to the voltage of the source - even a minute difference can cause a frequency shift = time is no longer kept correctly. There's nothing you can do (the quartz can't be adjusted to compensate for the frequency drift) apart making sure you always have brand new batteries.

It is like you are in setup mode. Or maybe some button are not released (button failure)? After correct time input, it must have some setup button for going up from that flashing mode (OK, mode, setup... button, depend on model). Battery is bad when you release battery, disconnect from power line and it don't hold time.
