Question about Brother MFC 7420 All-In-One Laser Printer
Somehow you have a page of data stuck in the memory. It should be cleared each time you print. This might indicate a bigger problem starting so if this repeats you may beed to take it into brother.
To get rid of this we need to do a reset. You need to keep pressing the DOWN or UP keys a couple of times till you see ‘Maintenance 99’ displayed on the display. Then hold down the ‘Set’ button to go to standby mode. Please note that if you press the exit key only after typing in a single digit then the machine goes to maintenance mode in initial stages. Just as a word of warning this can reset the printer to factory default which means any settings or stored numbers (fax numbers etc) will be lost.
That should get rid of your ghost in the machine.
