Well, try to remove the graphics card and plug back in.( it may be a loose contact)
Test the graphics card on another computer and see if it does the same thing. If so, then you have to buy a new VGA card. If not then there could be a problem with the motherboard.
If you need further assistance, just leave a comment. Cheers

I get an unlock display when I change to vid2 input. How can I unlock the input? Thanks

I had this exact issue.
I was using the digital 2 input for sound. (Toslink cable from my cpu).

It seems I inadvertantly muted the sound on the pc, and this caused the "unlock" message with the L-R speakers flashing on the display.

I restarted my pc; and then unmuted the sound.
3 seconds later; the L-R stopped flashing and I now have sound on Vid2.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Invalid format indicates issues with the PC Mode, if the signal is not out of range then check the input source.
Please accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

My dell optiplex 360 cannot start and is displaying the message i/o card parity interrupt at f000:268f

mostlikely an input/output card issue, or a motherboard failure. first thing to do, disconnect any i/o card you may have like video card and other expansion cards. Then connect the cards one by one and test the system if the error has stop. If your system has an intg video controller, try using it first to rule out an expansion video card issue. if you've ruled out any expansion devices and you have reseat the CMOS settings of the system, most likely, you need to get a new motherboard or request warranty replacement if still applicable.

Acer al1716 monitor input not supported

You get the message because the game try to run at the PC video resolution that you monitor cannot display/support. You need to run your game at native resolution of the monitor.

Compac presario S5000NX dont start anymore... the pcu is running but see no images

Hi,

You need to check if the light on the monitor is green on amber.

If its green then you need to turn off the computer, take out the ram, cmos battery, HDD/CD/DVD cables, power cables, and then put them back, this will ensure there is no static.

If still dont work then you need to take the ram out and start the computer, if it beeps then its a video chipset issue. If it will not beep then its you motherboard that has gone bad.

If the light is amber then remove the monitor cable from the computer and see if you get a message on the monitor stating no input signal, if dont then monitor has gone bad, if you get the message, then follow the steps mentioned above.

Shrey

NO SIGNAL INPUT - message

Hi Rick,
Most common cause of this error is when the video signal cables are knocked off rendering the connection from the monitor to the CPU loose. Turn off the PC and secure all connections. Have you had your computer moved or repaired where you need to remove connections? Some PCs have more than one video cards (video output) and you may have connected it in the wrong video port. You can isolate the problem further by connecting your CPU to a known working monitor (office, freind's, neighbor, 2nd home PC). The other way is to isolate the problem is to connect your problematic monitor to a known working PC and see if video will be displayed. If video is present, your CPU's video card has gone bad or the contacts are not seated properly in the slot. Best Regards
