Sound driver is not activated as i lost my motherboard cd.my mother board is intel845

First try with this (click here), open the link and click "Check your system for the latest updates" and follow the onscreen instructions, it will help you update all the required/necessary drivers of your motherboard.

If it's not helpful download and install this (click here) and search with your exact motherboard model. Since you didn't mention the exact motherboard model and the Operating System installed on your computer, i can't direct/make all these specific. If you need further help, let me know the exact motherboard model and the name of the operating system installed on your system.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

I have intel845 board when i switch on power without ram i get ram beeb but if ram installed i cant get any beeb & no display & board star power on automatically

If the board is starting properly with RAM installed but you are getting no display then the problem is with the video card or onboard video. If it is onboard video then you should be able to fix this by purchasing a compatible video card and installing in your pci-x slot. Make sure you disable onboard video once you are able to get into your bios. Hope this helps.

Sound card problem plz tell us which sound card is instal i am instal avance ac97 audio driver but show error code 10 help us

hi!
May I know what OS you are using for your PC? Your sound card installer might be compatible to Windows Vista but not to Windows XP or other platforms and vice versa.

But try to be specific in your search for the sound card driver. the best way to find your driver is to indicate the mother board model and the sound card installed in your computer. try this website for your search for the proper sound card driver you should install. http://www.driversdown.com should you have other clarifications just feel free to email me @ jonags3@mail.com.

Sound

hi there,

Have you install the sound card driver? sometime it came with your motherboard cd.
Try to install it first.

If you still got no sound, i think your on board soundcard has been damage. Just buy add on sound card and plug it into your pci slot.
and off course install it driver before you try to run the sound/music program.

250gb sata hard disk to 845 glad mother board

Hello all. I have the same issue. My MB is 845G [P4 2.4 Ghz] and SATA harddisk I need to install is Seagate 250 GB Baracuda with 3.0Gb/s interface, I belive which makes this HD as SATA II. So for this motherboard should I prefer PCI cards which support SATA II over the supports SATA I [these are cheaper].

Thanks so mcuh!!!

Hi babupbt, just post the model No# (you can find it printed in white on the motherboard or get it from the compaq manual). Compaq list everything on white stickers through out the PC.
I'll find all the drivers you need. (What operating system are you planning to install)? XP home, XP Pro?
