Question about Akai VS-J700EA VHS VCR
I have been given an old Akai video machine. There is no user manual. Can you please tell me how to save the TV channels on it??
I have read that in standby mode I must press play then power. Nothings happens! HELP!!

sorry but there is not a reset button and it looks to me as a damage chip is truth that tere is a mute option in your vcr but I have fix that problem before and was a bad chip look for a teh to help you but remember a new vcr cost is verry low so dont spend to much in that one..good luck

The power supply on your LCD is defective. It does not provide the power needed to all the circuitry due to defective capacitors or other components.
You will need to replace the power supply or get it repair because these service parts are not longer being manufactured.
