Question about GE AJCQ08ACB Air Conditioner
That is a circuit protector...just like what you would see on a bathroom outlet. It is possible the switch is bad and when you pressed test...it stuck in the open position and will not reset. I would unplug unit and firmly press reset from a couple angles. You may end up getting a new switch for it. Sorry for your inconvenience.... If brand new maybe you can return it?
