Question about Xerox Phaser 7300DN Laser Printer
I have Xerox Phaser 7300N that had a paper jam in the fuser three times in a row. I cleared the paper jam from the fuser each time and made sure there were no paper jams under imaging units. I closed lid and turned off printer before next job came through to let the fuser cool down overnight
Turned on printer and paper jam message still appears. No paper is jammed in the machine. Paper jam info says A22, and it's the top cover. No paper is there, in fuser or under imaging units.
Tried turning off and on again. Message still appears. Removed network cable and plugged back in. Message still appears.
Checked fuser life in printer menu. Says it's good.
Hi. Check the paper sensor in the paper exit area. It may have been stuck. Usually black, small plastic with spring and should be pointing downwards.
