It really depends on your amp most amps you want to keep a 4 ohm load . If you have a high end amp like Rockford or JBL they are 2 ohm stable a 2 ohm load means the speaker will work harder but my not ne safe for your amp . This is how you make a 2 ohm load you have 4 imputs 2 + and 2 - run 2 sets of speaker wire just like you have 2 speakers then take the free end the 1s going to the amp twist them together + to + - to - you can only do this if your amp is bridgeable and is 2 ohm stable look on your amp out puts most amps go to the left + and right - hope this helps

I dont know how to conect my subwoofer to the box,, because it has 2 coils

Please visit rockford foshgate web site and look for wiring wizard.
From there you will know as to how to connect the wire to your speaker.

Using the 2 voice coil is a must in order for you to get the best result and best performance of your speaker.

Before connecting the wires of your speaker please see the load required from your Power Amplifier.

Please take note that most of the Power Amp. (CAR) need 4ohms load.

How can i tell if a dual voice coil alpine type x is blown, apparently it was only wired in and only one voice coil was hooked up?

they best way to do this is with a multi meter on the OHMS setting.... to do this set the multi meter to the least ohms setting, usually it reads 20 or under. Connect the wires to each voice coil (by the speaker wire connections) if the multi meter reads 2 to 4 ohms whichever your speaker is, then the voice coil is not blown, but if it reads 8-10-12-14 or OL which means open loop then the coil in junk.

Dont know how to connect daul voice coil on a icbm-5612 performance teknique.

If you want a 2 ohm total load..wire it from the amp positive(red) to the first coil positive(red) and then to second positive(red). Amp negative(black) to first coil negative(black) and then to second negative(black). This will give you a 2 ohm total load on the amp.

Checking voice coil

Are the connection tight? Do you have a good ground? Does the coil, when pushed down gently, move freely? If it moves rough, the coil is bad. check those.

I have two 12 in. subs single voice coil and need to know if could run a 1 omh stablb amp and if yes and how

Yes, you sure could. Each sub is a 4 ohm load. When you put them in a box connect a wire from the + terminal on each speaker, and connect that to the + terminal on the box. Do the same from each - terminal, connecting to the - terminal on the box.
This is called "wiring in parallel" and it will split the load in half, so you present a 2 ohm load to the amp. Since your amp is rated down to 1 ohm, it will work just great.

Wiring 12" icmb-5612 preformance teknique subwoofer

That sub has dual 4-ohm voice coils. It can be wired either as 2-ohm, 4-ohm, or as 8-ohm.

2-ohm = voice coils in parallel (both positives and both negatives connected to your speaker amp out wires).
4-ohm = use only 1 voice coil (either is OK).
8-ohm = voice coils in series (connect the positive of one voice coil to the negative of the other and connect the remaining positive and negative to your speaker amp out wires).
