Question about Diamond Products Mk - 101 10" Tile Saw
I have a MK 101 wet tile saw and having problems. Start capacitor keeps blowing. Saw starts up slow, runs for ten minutes than trips the breaker. Replaced capacitor ran for less than an hour and blew capacitor again. Any suggestions?
SOUNDS LIKE THE CENTRIFUGAL SWITCH IS NOT WORKING.
THE MOTOR IS STARTING ON THE START WINDING AND NOT SWITCHING TO THE RUN WINDING. THAT IS THE REASON IT IS RUNNING SLOW.

I don,t know what size the breaker is but a motor pulls upto 8 times the full load current on start up so it may not be big enough or it may be weak.

OK MOST Caps aren't polarized, so can go on anyway... Check to see if there is any + or - on the Cap... NO then connect it up anyway .. if yes Phase needs to go to + Neutral needs to go to -.
Black is normally Phase, which probably goes to the motor so the other two, white & blue must be for the Cap.
But unless ya can get a schematic from manufacturer this is only an educated guess.
