Start capacitor keeps blowing. saw starts up

I have a MK 101 wet tile saw and having problems. Start capacitor keeps blowing. Saw starts up slow, runs for ten minutes than trips the breaker. Replaced capacitor ran for less than an hour and blew capacitor again. Any suggestions?

SOUNDS LIKE THE CENTRIFUGAL SWITCH IS NOT WORKING.
THE MOTOR IS STARTING ON THE START WINDING AND NOT SWITCHING TO THE RUN WINDING. THAT IS THE REASON IT IS RUNNING SLOW.

SOURCE: I own a mk 101 tile saw. I purchased used and it

I don,t know what size the breaker is but a motor pulls upto 8 times the full load current on start up so it may not be big enough or it may be weak.

OK MOST Caps aren't polarized, so can go on anyway... Check to see if there is any + or - on the Cap... NO then connect it up anyway .. if yes Phase needs to go to + Neutral needs to go to -.
Black is normally Phase, which probably goes to the motor so the other two, white & blue must be for the Cap.
But unless ya can get a schematic from manufacturer this is only an educated guess.
BE CAREFUL.

Cutting porcelain tile with wet saw and it breaks at the end of the cut?

Porcelain tile has to be cut painstakingly slow, especially the last inch or two to prevent the splitting problem you are having. When you are cutting tile, the sawblade rides up just a little as the tile is being fed into it. You'll notice it if you stop pushing the tile through and watch the head drop down just a bit. When you are getting to the last part of the cut, reduce the pressure you are using to push the tile into the blade so the blade can wear away the tile with little pressure and vibration as possible.

I am not sure I can be any clearer than to say the saw dooes not cut the tile square.

the problem is probably the slide cart you set tile on to push it into the blade,on the right side theres a roller you can adjust the the height of the tray,or look at the very bottom of the cutting arm, left hand side,on the outside, where its painted red, theres 2 bolts that hold the cutting arm to the frame of the saw body, try this first, i bet nuts got loose and the cutting arm dropped a tiny bit screwing everything up

Looking for shaft lock to change the blade on MK 170 wet saw

Just use a rag and grab the blade. Unless the threads are messed up you don't have to hold the arbor still, just the blade.

Tile saw not cutting straight

Sometimes a blade that is set deep enough will walk in this manner, especially if it is a thin kerf blade like the MK Hotdog blade.

Also, a blade which has worn unevenly will do this too.

No voltage at water pump plug on MK 101 off switchbox.

The Capacitor is only for starting the main motor and not the water pump. Like you said, if you connect the water pump to 110V it will run so there is a problem with how it is wired to the on/off switch. there should be a white wire (neutral) permanently connected to the pump and the on/off switch should supply power on the black wire when turned on.
