Do you have the manual? It should tell you that info in there somewhere.

I have a Weber Genesis S-330. My house has a natural gas pipe out to my deck with a shut-off value. Do I need to buy a seperate part to connect the hose to the gas line? Can't seem to figure out how i

Hi Jamie Duke, I want to help you with your problem, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box? Did your grill come with a grey rubber gas hose and/or a quick-disconnect fitting? The quick disc. (typically 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2" size) should hook up to your shut off valve, but you may need to buy a pipe fitting to adapt to it, that is, if the shutoff valve is not the same size. Let me know if I can be of any assistance. Douglas

Convert from Gas to Propane - I had this grill converted by a plumber from propane to gas (I believe he changed the nozzles and added a gas line instead of the propane line). I've had to move the...

The "nozzles", as you called them are actually the burner orifice. If you remove the burners and look back into the control panel, you should see the orifices that the plumber installed. They unscrew with a nut driver to be removed. Do this one at a time, installing the LP Gas Orifice immediately after removing the Natural Gas one. Be careful not to mix them up and reinstall the Natural Gas ones.
You will also need a LP Gas Regulator/Hose Assembly to connect to the grill tank, that you will be using. You can pick one up at any hardware store or home improvement center that sell grills & accessories. It runs about $30.00.

Below is a link to the Owner's Manual. But, I'm not sure it will be of help in changing the orifices. But, it's good to have for future reference. You can download and print it.

I need to convert my weber genesis b to nat. gas. Have the hose. bought a replacement manifold part and installed but doesnt seem to work. STEVE 269-600-8111

Steve, you also need to change the burner(s) orifices to Natural Gas orifices. Natural gas won't work with Propane orifices.

Good luck and Happy Grilling!!

Normally, at least on an American grill hose/regulator assembly are a universal fit. And both ends of the hose have female couplings. I would think it would be the same on German Models too. For the connection to the grill, the hose coupling size is 3/8" ID.

What is the NATURAL gas flow rating CFM for a Weber Genesis S-330 grill at 60,000 BTU max? I will be using 1/2" black pipe 40ft long run to the grill off a 3/4" main line - ok? Thanks...Dennis

Dennis, it's not the CFM you need to know, it's the water column inch that is required. In this case it's 7 inches. Also, if you're burying this 40' run, you can't use black iron pipe. A less labor intensive and perhaps less expensive way to go is 1/2" Flexible Copper Refrigerant Tubing. It's comes in 50' & 100 ' roles from your local home center. Even if you're not burying the line, it's a better way to go, as you'll have fewer fittings that could be prone to leaking. I

n addition, you'll also need and an inline gas shut off valve at the connection before the grill and a 12' long quick disconnect gas hose, that connects to the copper pipe connection at the shut off valve and then to the grill. This is a code requirement.

Now, with all this said, I hope you have a Genesis S-330 Natural Gas Grill. Because, the Genesis Propane Grills ARE NOT convertible to Natural Gas. And Genesis Natural Grills ARE NOT convertible to Propane.

Hope all this helped you make the right decisions. Have a great day and Happy Grilling!

Not hot enough!

take it back to the store, natural gas is supplied at 1-2 psi, so its all up to your bbq, sounds like your burner is getting no gas(not much) it should not have a reulator at the hose, this is for propane tamks only

Converting Weber Genesis Silver B from LP to Natural Gas

Hello...I have the same grill and want to do the same conversion...From my research, you need to drill out the three orifices with a size #53 wire gauge drill bit. ( this resizes each orifice to 12000 BTU's each, which the grill is rated at 36000 BTU's).Then remove the existing hose and regulator. Replace the hose with a Quick disconnect compression fitted hose. The NG supply needs to have a pressure regulator installed, with a shutoff and quick disconnect fitting installed. Connect the hoes from the grill to the supply, and fire it up...THIS IS WHAT I INTEND ON DOING TO MY GRILL,BUT YOU DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK>>>

The city where I live requires a licensed plumber to do this. So I guess my problem is solved.
