SOURCE: Bosch dishwasher wont take in water through the cold inlet

First of all, the hot water line should be supplying the dishwasher, not the cold water line. That being said, if the machine is hooked up to cold water line, the only reason why no water is coming in would be that the valve is not open. Look under the sink to see if that is where the dishwasher line is attached to the cold supply. If not there, perhaps in the basement. Open that valve and you should have water.
Finally, if there is no water coming in and you have a lime deposit problem with your water it is possible that the line is full of lime and will have to be changed. good luck with this.

SOURCE: bosch dishwasher was started when water supply was off

You could have a blockage in the pump solinoid..if there was some plumbing done in the house...you can get small pieces of copper that come from cutting the pipes stuck in side of smaller water lines such as dish washers and ice makers... its a little bit of work but you'll have to remove the dish machine and double check that the water is in deed getting to the dish machine... if it is then you'll start by checking that nothing is clogging the pump...normally the punp is located right where the water connects to the machine...good luck

SOURCE: water plumb are not working. Does it worth to fix? Thanks.

IF THE WASHER IS NOT PUMPING THE WATER THROUGH YOUR DRAIN, AND YOU HEAR THE PUMP RUNNING, YOUR DRAIN LINE FROM THE WASHER TO THE SINK DRAIN IS CLOGGED. DISCONNECT HOSE FROM SINK DRAIN AND VACCUM OUT, OR RUN A WIRE OR SOMETHING SMALL BUT STIFF TO LOOSEN THE CLOGGED HOSE. NOW RUN THE WASHER AND ALLOW SOME WATER TO BUILD UP IN THE WASHER, IF WATER ALREADY EXISTS THEN TURN KNOB ON WASHER TO DRAIN. MAKE SURE YOU HEAR WATER DRAINING IN SINK AND PROBLEM SOLVED. IF THE PUMP MOTOR IS NOT TURNING AT ALL , BUT YOU CAN HEAR IT ENGAGE, THEN TURN WASHER OFF, TAKE FRONT BOTTOM PANELS OFF, LOOK FOR THE MOTOR AND TAKE YOUR HAND AND ROTATE THE MOTOR CLOCKWISE A FEW TURNS AND THEN COUNTER-CLOCKWISE A FEW TURNS, IT WILL FEEL LIKE A DISC IN THE FRONT OF THE MOTOR. IF YOU DON'T FEEL A DISC AT THE FRONT OF THE MOTOR, THEN LOOK AT THE BACK OF THE MOTOR AND YOU SHOULD SEE WHAT LOOKS LIKE SOME BLADES. NOW TAKE A SCREWDRIVER AND ROTATE IT CLOCKWISE AND THEN COUNTER-CLOCKWISE. MAKE SURE YOU GET SOME ROTATATION WITH EITHER METHOD THAT YOU HAVE TO USE. YOU WILL FILL RESISTANCE AT FIRST, BUT KEEP TRYING TO TURN THE MOTOR. AFTER GETTING IT TO MOVE, TURN THE WASHER ON NORMAL CYCLE AND ALLOW TO RUN. IT SHOULD DRAIN WITH NO PROBLEMS. REMEMBER THIS IS JUST BUILD-UP INSIDE THE WASHER AROUND THE INSIDE OF THE PUMP AREA. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS BREAK IT LOOSE. IT MAY SOUND LIKE A HARD TASK , BUT IT IS QUITE EASY. YES IT IS WORTH FIXING, BECAUSE IT WILL COST YOU NOTHING. IT TOOK LONGER FOR ME TO TYPE THIS THAN TO FIX YOUR PROBLEM. TO KEEP THIS PROBLEM FROM COMING BACK, OR COMING BACK MORE OFTEN, ALWAYS SCRAPE EXCESS FOOD IN TRASHCAN AND RINSE THE DISHES OFF WITH WATER BEFORE PUTTING THEM IN THE WASHER. ALSO PULL THE BOTTOM RACK OF THE WASHER ALL THE WAY OUT AND CHECK THE FILTER SCREEN TO SEE IF IT IS CLOGGED. IF IT IS UNCLOG IT . THIS TAKES APPROXIMATELY 30 TO 45 MINUTES, AND SAVES YOU $$$$.

Spray arm not turning on Bosch Tabletop S2R1B

The inside of the arms can get blocked, only if the water can move freely through them do they turn, cause by the water ejecting from the arms spay holes. Lift or pop the arm off its mount, its a push-click fit.
have a look inside it for debris like chicken bones and clean it out.
do the same for the socket the arm came off -check all tubes are clear.

I can't see how to remove the worktop of my Bosch dishwasher. I found two screws that look as if they stop it sliding forward but I still can't move it after removing them. It looks for all the...

Hi john_mchugo,

The dishwasher Worktop can be removed by first removing the 2 screws at the back of the machine. The screws are either fastened horizontally, or vertically. Once these screws are removed, the worktop slides backwards, and can be lifted up and off.

On some models there are catch tappets located on the rear right and left hand sides of the Top panel. To remove the Top panel, press up the catch tappets, push the worktop back and lift it off. If these tappets aren't pressed up, the Top won't release at all.

I hope this has helped you.

Kind Regards

Heat is escaping from my built in dishwasher ruining worktop

when the appliance was installed there should of been a metalic paper looking strip that had a sticky back this should unpeeled and be stuck to the underside of the worktop and it will deflect the heat and steam away from your worktop. Sadly this will only get worse if not fitted as everytime the appliance finishes when the door is opened the steam will billow out onto the worktop.

Hope this helps

Hi I am looking to buy a table top dishwasher, I have no room to plumb into pipes, will I be able to connect to a mixer tap???????

a dishwaher needs hot water to work properly a mixer i believe works so you do not get burned by hot water i believe correct me if i am wrong with a normal tap all you need is a special fitting for your portable and they usually are supplied with a new one or are cheap to purchase from a plumbing supply or loewes or home depot.check with where you want to purchase washer and ask if they work with a tap mixer

How to adjust the legs

Remove any plinth in front of the base of the machine. In the middle of the base you should see a black screw head with arrows either side. This screw adjusts the height of the machine at the back - clockwise = up and visa versa. The two feet at the front screw in or out of the base moulding to raise or lower the machine. Check that these have not been secured by screws through the front moulding. If so, slacken or remove. NOTE: make sure if the machine is already installed that you have loosened the screws which secure the machine at the top to the underside of your worktop.
