Question about Dell Latitude D600 Notebook
My friend is correct or else u can restart the computer in safe mode by pressing F8 at restart and choose the administartor account.then go to control panel and user accounts and then remove the password from your own account

That's depend on where the password was located, if it located on windows : Turn off the computer and then start it back on again and press F5 to go on save mode once on safe mode go to Control Panel Tab on account and the go to the account that has the password and delete it.
If it is in the computer the best you can do is locate the safe battery which most of the time is in the battery compartment, this is a watch battery, once you locate it unplug it for a minute and put it back on and that's it
