Usually any where that repairs lawn mowers, snowblowers, and chain saws or places that sell them like Sears.

Remington is no longer in production. Often eBay is the only source for replacement parts. The motor for any model Remington cannot be found. We rarely get questions about McCulloch or Poulan electrics, I suspect a much higher quality saw that will need few if any replacement parts. Wen is back in production, they used to be a quality product they might be worthy a critical inspection. $22 would be a god start toward a replacement saw.

Motor turns --sprocket or chain doesn't

I'm assuming your kill switch is not engaged, the front handle should be pulled to the rear. It's normal to have some damage on the sprocket from loose chains catching on the corner so I doubt you need a new one. The motor turns? I'm assuming you're talking about the clutch, and if the clutch spins but the chain does not it sounds like your bar may be damaged or as you said the sprocket may need to be replaced if it's seriously been misused.

We like you can do no more than an Internet search. If your search nets zero hits odds are so will ours.

Eventually the only source for replacement parts will be Ebay. Consider replacement with a product from a company you expect to remain in business for 10-15 years. HTH

Missing nut and sleeve for sprocket cover for model 111174

Duplicate question... duplicate answer.
You provided no model number. It is probably here:
Remington.com

If not there is a home button at the bottom of the page that provides a 1-800-number. GL

The chain on my Remington electric saw keeps jumping the sprocket. Solution? Thanks.

Depending to what model you have, the Sprocket cover tab (located on the round part of the sprocket cover) isn’t inserted into the saw body tab slot. Or your cahin is not tensioned properly. According to the manufacturer... "The adjusting block on the adjusting screw isn’t inserted into the adjusting hole on the guide bar. Reinstall and align the sprocket cover by first removing the sprocket cover from the saw. Turn tensioning screw on the sprocket cover counter-clockwise until it stops. Pull guide bar away from saw body to remove slack from chain. Insert sprocket cover tab into saw body tab slot and lower sprocket cover into guide bar bolt. Finger tighten guide bar nut onto guide bar bolt. Slowly push guide bar toward saw body until adjusting block on the adjusting screw drops into round adjusting hole on the guide bar. Securely tighten guide bar nut after properly tensioning saw chain." If these tips do not work, you may need a new chain. You can order an new chain on-line at www.masterparts.net. I hope this helps you!

Where can i find a sprocket for a remington 16 inch chainsaw?

I suggest you contact Master Parts at 800-446-1446. You also can find them online at www.masterparts.net. They should have the part you need. Just make sure when calling them to have either the part number you need, or the model number of your saw (it should be located on your saw). I hope this helps you!

Craftsman 16 inch cain saw sprocket wont turn

Sounds like the sprocket could be stripped. If so, then you would need to replace the sproket. I suggest you contact Master Parts at 800-466-1446 or online at www.masterparts.net. They may be able to help you.
