Question about Verbatim 160GB USB FireLite: The "drive for perfection" is built into our line of FireLite portable external ... 160 GB Hard Drive
I can watch movies, listen to music etc on my computer via my hard drive but my dvd player suddenly doesn't read it. The other dvd player says this device not supported yet both these dvd players did read the hard drive before I formatted it. I think I need new software/drivers?
I agree with you, probably need to install at least the drivers. Google your dvd player's make and model number with driver at the end, and see what you can find. Some sites have free drivers, and some want you to pay to update your driver base. I would try for free drivers first, and see if you can get it working with them. Not sure why you formatted your hard drive, so I'm not sure if you have another issue or not, but trying the drivers would be the first step. Good luck, hope this helps.
