Remove the power head from the wand. Turn it upside down on a table or counter. There are 5 screws to remove to take the head off. There are
3 on the long part just in front of the brush roller and 2 more on each corner of the short part. Once you have the hood off you will be able to remore your sock, then put back on the hood.

Sock stuck

About the only other place it could be so in the tube in the power nozzles which can be removed. Take off the bottom plate to access this area.

I got a sock stuck in the hose how do i get it out?

Take a metal closthes hanger and undo the hook end from the spiral at the base of the hook, leave the hook and the coil that held the hanger together as is and straighten the rest. Put the spiral end of the hanger into the hose, when it reaches the sock twist the hanger to screw the spiral into the fabric, not too far, only a little. If you have enough grip on the sock, it should pull back out. You may have to try several times until the sock pulls free. Good luck.

Clogged hose and can not get the handle off

The best way to fix this problem is to Stick the other end of the handle into the wall inlet making the nozzle contact the pin jacks of the wall inlet. You may need to work the clog back and forth by then plugging the hose in normally. Eventually you will be able to work the clog out of the hose.

If all else fails you should use a plumbers snake.
