Question about Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Edition
Hey!! i've an hp dv2106tx notebook with windows vista home premium. the notebook, being hp, hs come with a recovery manager which can recover and reinstall the preloaded softwares without using a cd. So it means i dun hv a vista home premium cd, as i didnt gt any with my lappy. I want to format the windows and i dun know how to do it using the recovery manager. Please tell me hw do i do it....
If you run the recovery CD you do have, when it reinstalls the operating system, it should also reformat the hard drive first, and give you a completely clean install.
are you trying to install a different version of windows? are you running the recovery software from the HP CD, or from the local hard drive?
also, when you run the recovery software, does it give you an option for what kind of recovery to run? Be certain to select the most thorough option listed.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
