Intel 845epi board not booting

Please go through the following option :

1) Check the master and slave jumper settings of hard disk and CD-ROM. Hard disk jumper setting should be Master and CD-ROM should be slave.

2) Check the cable of hard disk and CD-ROM.

3) Use different power supply which should be in good condition and than attach your hard disk and CD-ROM.

Sir, i have lost my motherboard cd

The intel website. www.intel.com under the support section will allow you to lookup your board model # and then list all available downloads [drivers] that they have for it. Hope this helps & please take a moment to rate this solution. Thanks.

May be a bios problem

Sounds like it is a hard disk issue. Corrupted MBR. Or missing Boot Loader. Your partition must be Fat32 since Win98 won't recognize NTFS. Try running chkdsk if not successful than repartition and format. BIOS is OK since you stated it will install windows. Corrupted BIOS won't allow pc to load. From a win98 bootdisk choose not to load cd. From the dos prompt type FDISK /Status If more than 1 partition check active partition settings.
