Copy and paste a documnet on gateway pc laptops

You can use the File manager to copy and paste any file, including documents.

1. Find the document you want to copy.

2. Right click on the file name with the mouse and a menu will come up, select COPY.

3. Go to the location where you want to put the file.

4. Find some white space next to the file names and right click again and select PASTE.

The file will then be copied to this location.

Hello, My hard drive Hitachi HDP 720 isn't recognized for my computer, I mean, The computer identify it, but I can't read the file. What can I do? What it's the problem? Can I recovery the files?...

download a CD called "hiren's boot CD", it will come in an ISO format, burn a cd copy , boot to the CD , run HDD Regen from the list presented, the program is called "hard drive Regenerator", this may recover the bad sectors, it takes many many hours to scan the drive, make sure you let it finish, IF if works for you, do not rely on that drive again. copy off your files, and replace the Hard drive.

Laptop broken, need to copy files from hard drive directly to another computer. I heard there was a cable that linked to USB (I think the HD is SATA?!?!) its a "hitachi traveller". Can I rescue...

you may need a 2.5 notebook hard drive Enclosure for sata.

then after you have that you can now connect that to a usb port then you should copy all the files that you have in the drive.

How do i play my dvd on a vista platform

I have the gx5020a camera, and found out that the VRO file is just MPEG2. So copy the VRO file onto your computer from your disc. Once its on your harddrive, you can right click on it and go to properties. Re-name your file from VRO to MPG, making sure that you still have the original VRO file in case you need it for other programs. Once I change it to MPG file name, I can use media player to play it and I have a DVD movie maker where i can edit and record to DVD.
