Question about Insignia IS-LCDTV32 32 in. Television
I bought an Insignia LCD 32" TV (model # NSLCD32FS) at FutureShop. The
TV has always worked well, then yesterday I touched the buttons on top
of it while I had probably a static electricity and it switched off by
itself. Then when I switched it on again I could not change the
channels (it was fixed on one), my remote did not work, and the menu
window appeared and disappeared continuously. I unplugged it for an
hour or so, then switched it on again, and now it looks like it's trying
to find the channels and it scrolls all the channel numbers no stop. Is
there some sort of general reset with some key sequence or have you any
other suggestions I can try ?
Sometimes this can be fixed by removing the power plug from the wall and either allowing it to sit or grounding the power leads together (UNPLUGGED) to remove and residual charge. I know it sounds nuts but it has worked for me on three separate electronic devices
