Hi, well I applaud you for wanting to have a go and try to repair you set. But PLEASE, start in the right place, otherwise you will simply waste your time and money, You see, you MUST start, in the right place, The power supply, FIRST, as, if, that isn't right, nothing else can be. But you simply cannot do anything without a Service Manual. In this it has everything one needs to repair the set. OK if it is shutting down, after that amount of time, of working and then faulting, then it is most definitely a "Thermal" problem, the way we "Find" problems such as this is "Freeze Spray" you use this on each component that is suspected of being the "Culprit" and you will soon, find that errant component. Now, also not every fault is a Capacitor, I see many, many people that think, that Capacitors are always the "Culprit" and replace them, because someone else had done so and it worked, well that maybe sometimes true, but most Symptoms, can, and do have many, many different "Causes" & also, now while that may be true in a few cases, a faulty Electrolytic Cap, or even, ordinary, Cap goes faulty, this is only a SYMPTOM, something has damaged those caps causing them to "Fail". One MUST always find the root "Cause", otherwise if you just treat, the SYMPTOM, the "Cause" will just make the "Symptom" come back, in short order, as the prime cause still, hasn't been fixed., Now Capacitors hate AC ripple, or Over Voltage. Thats it. Oh.. and Heat, if these Capacitors, are too close to a Heat Source, then thats a prime cause of failure. Resistors, hardly ever go faulty, and if they do, it is generally obvious. However it doesn't hurt to check values with our Multimeter. Remember though resistors are made, with up to 20% tolerance from stated value, as such, are not too critical, unless in Timing circuits etc. Always check, the Values, of resistors, as with any other component, with the power OFF. Now Diodes especially "Zener Diode", are another thing to check, those and ordinary "Signal Diode" should always be suspect. next we have Transistors and IC's. The Transistors MUST ALL be checked to see if they have a good, "Junction" this is done, with our meter set to "Diode Test" and usually are about 0.6 to 0.7. With IC's you must check, voltage levels, or Logic Levels, going in and out, have a look at the circuit diagram, and it will tell you what they should be. It is a good idea to always measure the Power Supply voltages, see if a "Rail" is Low, that will be because some component has gone somewhat or all short circuit, to Earth, now, if the "Rail" is Higher, suspect an "Open Circuit" component, like a Diode, or Transistor. The voltages expressed in the manual are spot on, ANY variation MUST be investigated. I have been doing all this for over 30 years now, and I do indeed wish, we could have a set of "Symptoms" and be ables to say.. "Oh that;s the so-in-so and replace this" however unfortunately this although does happen, most "Symptoms" can have literally tens, of "Causes" all often "Interlinked" One simply has to do a methodical troubleshooting procedure, and always think, "are my Voltages Correct" as this is how, you Fix the problem, by making them so. Keep up the good work. If that link above doesn't furnish a Service manual, it is imperative you get one, even if you must pay for it. It will pay for itself in about 2 mins.

Above are two training manuals, above those, is a link, for a forim, discussing your set, above that are two pay for service manual link, above that are Sony Blink fault codes, above that is a user manual, with these you should be able to sort out your problem, ALL links have great info.

My sony kp- fx532m91 has trouble in turning on it takes 30 to 60 minutes before it will open/on. and it blinks six time every 3seconds. what could be a possible remedy anyone can help me.

Iam thinking that 6 blinks means power suply make sure all voltages are right according to the board.Could be somthing is pulling down on 5 volt line or12 volt line. If it is a CRT which Iam sure it is then there is 150 volts DC or so for the flyback there is a high voltage block for the high voltage for each gun red blue and green.Check power suply horizontal output high voltage block focus and screen block.

Before read this, keep in mind that this is not your model and parts are not the same. This is just to let you know the steps to take. Sorry don't have the schematic for your set, but maybe this will help in checking. I'm Ex-Army myself and Veteran of OIF and OEF.::::1. You have a bad flyback transformer. This is a common problem that eventually goes bad in the ITC 222 chassis. You have to get the model number with the code at the end of it after the /. And sometimes you must have the numbers from off the flyback itself. Try to contact MCM electronics for the flyback at 1-800-543-4330. First see if they can match it with the model number with the code after the /.

hello Eight GA_googleFillSlot("TL-IMU-Article"); blinks - Problem with the audio (AUDIO), unit goes to standby and blinks the self-diagnosis code. Check IC406 audio amp, PS401, and 402. On some projection models of Sony TV sets, this code means that T8005 (flyback transformer), or the associative components in the high voltage circuits are defective on the D board

Won't turn on

Although the other response is in much better technical lingo, it sounds to me like the television had a high voltage arc which I have seen on quite a few of the sony big screens lately. Usually, it causes a part on the circuit board, (one of many that were listed on prev. solver's list) to fail. This causes a delimma for the repairman, because when they find the bad part and replace it, sometimes it will pop again causing repeat failure of boards and/or parts on the board. Sony is known for having bad tubes on their projection sets, and it can be a difficult repair even for a trained tech. I suggest calling a sony service center in your area, and get an accurate estimate before deciding if replacing the set is the best idea. Hope this is helpful input, Russmann.

AR-207 copier has "CH" flashing what to do?

CH code is usually associated with the Crum chip located on the back of the toner cartridge that gets 5 volts dc from the power supply and resets a counter on the main board to tell the copier approximatley how much toner you have when you insert an new toner. What may have happened, is the same 5 volts dc is shared with the laser unit and the when the laser goes bad it may cause the CH code just before it gives the E7-03 code for the laser due to the 5 volts being drawn down by the bad laser. If turning the machine off and back on with the new toner doesn't fix it then you either have a bad chip on the new toner or a bad LSU (laser Scanner unit)

OSRAM VS. PHILLIPS
This is about buying replacement bulbs for the WD62327 TVs.I dont know about the other models but I purchased a PHILLIPS replacement bulb and it worked for about a week and then those dumb flashing lights and no TV. I did some research and others were saying that you had to replace some condensers. Shop would do it for 600 dollars..Well i sent the bulb back and bought an OSRAM replaement bulb. The TV is now working perfect.
