From the picture this looks like a Firebird product? If you're using the AC charger that came with the product, charging is usually overnight. If you're using a generic NIMH charger then 15 - 20 minutes is normal but its all based on your charger.

Are the Batteries for the Tracfone LG420G and LG440G interchangeable?

If the same voltage, physical dimensions and technology (NiMh / NiCAD, etc.) they are interchangeable. A *new* 950 mAH rated battery will power the phone under identical usage a little longer than a *new* 900mAH rated battery. I choose the higher mAH rated batteries whenever possible and at comparable prices because of this - everyone ought to, too.

How long should I charge my 900mah li-ion batteries for the first time? How long should be after first time?

You should be OK to charge the battery for 10 hours at a constant current of about 90mA. I assume this battery is a 3.7v type, with a full charge voltage of about 4.2v (it would be useful to monitor this with a multimeter).
Some useful commentary is here:
Good Luck

Just got a kin one about 2.5 weeks ago. today all of a sudden it turned off and I wasnt able to turn it back on , and now its in charge but the charging screen does not even appear. what should i do?

Disconnect the battery, wait about a minute and then reconnect it. Try booting the phone unplugged and see if it even comes up. If it does, plug it in and see if the charging indicator works. If the phone doesn't budge, plug it in and boot up. If neither works I think the battery is faulty. That is the sure sign the Lithium batter is dead from the beginning and you should be able to replace through the manufacturer no problem.
This is not as uncommon as you would think.

When the case gets moved, as putting on ones belt, the power cycles on and off.

It sounds like the battery connections are loose. Remove the battery pack and ensure the connections are clean and making good contact. It's also possible the tabs that hold the battery to the radio are worn. Be sure the battery pack is seating well.

Do you know how long to charge the 9.6V NiMH Battery for?

the first two charging cycles you are to charge it no less than five and a half hours, after that you only need to charge it for four hours. REMEMBER!! never charge a hot battery, allow it to cool completely before re-charging.

There are amperage differences in the batteries ranging from 900mAh to 1200mAh for the CECT I68 and I9 phones and their ''descendants'' Which battery goes to which phone?

look for the specifications on and choose one specified for your model. if you use higher, then the battery will charge faster but is harmful for the battery. if lower than it will take longer to charge. but safer.

Well i tried to take a picture and i took it and then it turned off once i took the picture

Sounds like the batteries.

Digital cameras are noteably, very demanding power suckers.
If they don't have brand new batteries, they shut off.

They requre top brand (Energizer or Duracell) batteries, and once they are used for even a short time; they will not be enough either.
(Dont' throw them out though, other less demanding things like Remote controlls will gladly use them for years)

The best bet is to use Rechargeable batteries, or have a $100/month budget for duracells.

Statistics you will need to look for in Rechargeable batteries are:

Type; Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd) or Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH)

The Metal Hydride rechargeable battery is best since it charges faster and retains it charge longer, the old fashioned Nickel Cadmium battery used to be the best, but not any longer.

Rating: 900mAh; 1800mAh; 2200mAh; others not mentioned.

Unimportant note: The mAh means Milli Amphere Hours, which means how much power the battery cell will hold when fully charged. It is measured in Ampheres (Amps) per Hour, or in this case Milliamperes (1/1000 of an amp), but that's not important to know; all rechargeable batteries are rated by this number.

The number of mAh's you want are about 1000 or more,

Generally it's the more mAh's you have the more you can take pictures. Such as 900mAh will get about 50 to 250 pictures, but 1800mAh will get you twice as much.

Last note on Rechargable batteries: Only use a LiMH charger for LiMH batteries, and use a NiCd Charger for NiCd batteries.
If a charger dosn't say what type of batteiries it charges, it's the old fashioned NiCd (Nickel Cadmium) from the 1900's when that was the only type of rechageable battery.

Good luck with your Digital Camera.

How to use

with Nimh batteries you can charge them anytime, you dont have to run them down first like nicads. just put the batteries in the charger with the flat end (-) against the spring and plug it in. some models have a red light to show its chargeing and a green one to show its fully charged while others just have a light to show it is chargeing.
