Question about Heating & Cooling
Had transformer break its mounting bracket. Replaced transformer. Worked great then mounting tabs broke again. Replaced transformer again. Now the LED on the controlboard does not light up but you can hear a buzzing noise from transformer. Could the capacitor cause this problem? The control board was replaced last year and all the rollout limit switches were replaced when first transformer replaced. My e-mail address is email@example.com.
You may be putting the incorrect transformer in. Try to get a OEM from your local HVAC dealer. Which capacitor are you referring to?
