Question about HP DeskJet 810c InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Output i changed both cartridges about two weeks ago and used the printer once or twice. Today, the color is not true at all. it's mostly pinks and blues. I put in another color cartridge and get the same output. This is not our main printer so it's not crucial- i just hate spending money on cartridges is there is something else wrong.

My CP2025 is printing tiny colored dots on my pages...what do I need to do?

You will most likely need to change what ever toner cartridge that is the same color as the dots. So if the dots are pink change the magenta. If they are blue change the cyan. Most of the time these dots are a result of the toner cartridges drum having a pit or similar defect in it. Changing the toner cartridge will take care of this.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.

I don't use the color I just bought a black cartridge but it won't print unless I change the color also. Is this true or am I doing something wrong. Or do I have to also but the color cartridge.

This is true. Printer manufactorers just want you to spend money on color cartridges also. And most printers are using the color cartridge to make the print darker,

My Kodak printer stopped printing in color.

Hello sir; Are you using remanufacture ink cartridge? if yes, why don't try brand name cartridge, if still don't work, my suggestion go buy a new machine much save more than send to the shop for repaire.

My printer does not print the colors true to their actual color. Red is pink and so on. What can I do to fix this?

Are you using a factory new ink cartridge?
If you are using a refilled or third party cartridge that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead.
If you are using factory new cartridges, then please call the manufacturers Technical Support for assistance with the warranty on the cartridges

Can't use black cartridge only to print

Unfortunately it is all true.
Personally I would stay away from Lexmark, I am a Canon fan, the MP520 looks real nice, but it's personal choice at the end of the day.

HP printer not printing true color all of a sudden.

Altho the cartridge is new, you may have used all of the ink of one color. Pictures take an enormous amount of ink to print and all three primary colors are used to create the hues and colors indicated on the picture. Try a new color cartridge and see if that works.

Frequent replace ink cartridges

All true and all typical .Sorry. I also have a pin printer attached and do all my noncritical printing on it. According to consumers report , two months ago. Epson brand printers let you use up the most from the cantainers before having you replace them but all leave some so that they don't run dry thsi accordign to the artical.

Horrible ink issues..

Unless you are printing a lot in that color, my Epson Stylus photo color R300 uses black at about twice the rate as the color ones. Most packages or ink, I find, also come with two black and one of every color. All my color ones seem to emply at approximately the same time as the others.
