Question about NetGear WGR614 Wireless Router
We have a desktop pc with a cable broadband modem connected to it (Virgin Media) my son wanted a wireless router so that he could get his wii connected to the internet and also he is hoping !! to a get a laptop soon and connect this also. We have wired up everything as told but keep getting to a certain point that it will not let us pass. It just keeps saying check the cables are all fully pushed in so we cannot activate the router. Any ideas? As you can tell from my description I do not really know how computers work that well but I can follow instructions well. Thanks.
Best thing you do is check again the UTP and the RJ 45 jack tip to tip check the color coding of the wire the best coding is from the right brown and white wbrown ,green and white w/blue ,blue and white w/green ,orange and white w/orange then do this to the other side same coding and start to configure it again ....
hope this solution help your problem ..
please rate this solution ..... Thanks
