Colored thinline on right side of screen from bottom to top

Cannot find my receipt. Bought at BJs in Oct 2006 still under warranty but no receipt. What should I do?

    red line about 2 inches from side top to bottom also horizontal scroll line that keeps on going

Try going to where you bought the tv. they might have a record of the purchase. was the warranty with the store or manufacturer. if with the store they should definately have records.

White band from top yo bottom of screen


Good luck with this. If it is under warranty, Sharp will take forever to do anything about it. I had this issue and Sharp wanted pictures of the problem, Pictures of the serial and model number and the receipt. I sent it to them 6 months ago and never heard anything back. If it is not under warranty, this is a major repair and it may cost more than a new television.

This may be due to bad capacitors in the power supply circuit, Have the power supply checked for leaky or puffed up tops on capacitors in the PS.

More of a Toshiba statement.


My 52 in regza has a vertical line on the right side as well just under 2 years old, out of warranty and to costly to repair, I paid $2500 as well. The TV has been on its stand since the day I bought it and has been moved once.
I have read of others who have this problem as well, just google toshiba regza red line, or vertical line
I Too will never buy Toshiba products and I will tell everyone I can about the **** LCD Toshiba

The vertical lines from the top of the screen all the way to the bottom of the screen is the sign of the bad LCD panel, you need to find the receipt.

3 colored lines


Hi,
Is the 3 colored lines always in the same location? Top to Bottom or Side to Side?
The plasma panel is bad if it is from Top to bottom and the 3 colored lines are always in the same location.

The Z Sus, Y Sus and Y buffers are suspect is the lines are not always in one location and it is from side to side.

Repair cost is about half of your purchase price if the plasma is bad. I hope your unit is under warranty. Best Regards

Color blurry


If it is in in the menu aslo one of the main boards are defective. Contact Philips @ 1888-744-5477 and the will do the repairs in the set is under warranty if just out of warranty they will still help have your receipt.
