Although it is the 2009 version of Kapersky, it was upgraded to the latest version upon installation. The subscription which came with your computer is good for one year and you will be receiving renewal notices as the end of the subscription nears. Thus, if the one year license was activated in Jan 2013, it would have expired eight months ago. Unless you have activated another security or anti-virus program, your computer is unprotected and you are in danger of not only having your personal data compromised, but you are also in danger of having your computer taken over by viruses and malware.

How to fix application error 0xc0000142?

You have a virus and or malware. The anti-virus program you just downloaded and tried to install has just failed to initialize, which means your viruses and malware have blocked you from using it. You should bring it in to a computer shop that specializes in virus and malware removal for a set cost. They should also be able to set you up with a FREE antivirus and anti-malware solution as well so you aren't caught unprotected next time.

Hello my phone is a Samsun R560 and after trying to download a picture it started to turn on and off like crazy and it hasn't been able to turn back on every since then, this happened about an hour ago :(...

Probably your phone is infected with either autorun or viruses. Check your computer if there is a viruses by antivirus scanning. If you are only just downloading pictures or music if there is no virus your phone will work fine. Also on website while downloading pictures from unprotected website your computer and the same your phone will automatically infected by malware, adware and other kind of software that are dangerous to your system. Have a good day.

No. Is the Microsoft (not HP) "Security Center" that is telling you that message.

Did you "uninstall" any anti-virus software that was preloaded onto your new computer?

After downloading from:
did you "double-click" the icon for the file, to "install' the software?

From another computer, download the "Malicious Software Removal Tool" from and copy the file to a USB memory-stick.

Carry the memory-stick to your computer, and run that M.S.R.T. tool, to see if it can "remove" the virus.

For AVG, you have to download an installer first from and then download and install AVG. Alternatively download Avira on a dofferent machine and copy to your PC and install. I doubt if you can download AVG with this new system of installer.

Restting a desktop due to virus or worm

You will have to try to run a removal program on your system before trying to restore it since the bug is probably saved and will reinstall over and over again.
Worst case, you may have to buy an antivirus package or risk losing any or all of your own work.
You absolutely need to install the 'Restricted Sites' list (available at several sites on line) to avoid ending up at dangerous sites such as the one that installed your current problem.
Windows Defender is free (from MS website) and along with an antivirus program will afford you further protection.

Running 'naked' is not an option.
