Question about Televison & Video

1 Answer

I have a Samsung HLN437W 43" wide screen HDTV Monitor TV with DLP Technology. The tv picture will not come on. The three light in the front of the tv are all flashing (1 red and 2 green). I live in Marin County Ca zip code 94956 - can you help me find a service repair company or tell me howto fix the problem myself? Thanks, Lynn

All you need is a new lamp thats what the 3 lights blinking is indicating. Very easy to do this yourself. Just order a new lamp and let me know when it arrives and I will explain how to change it. Very easy takes about 5 minutes.

I have a 43 inch samsung DLP tv 2004 model# HLN4365W, I was getting a black and white picture, so i replaced the color wheel which was broken. It worked fine for a couple of days then there was no picture,...

No picture on a DLP when you can see the lamp is working is ALWAYS the DLP chip. BECAUSE you recently replaced the color wheel, i suspect that the LVDS/data cable to the light engine was not plugged in well and has come loose. I suggest checking and rechecking every cable and plug you can find.

Small rectangular b/w blocks on screen, low frequency whine.

check for filter(capacitor) problem in the video portion of the tv, and control could be dirt or finger contamination inside the remote.
