I run my Kenwood KFC-W3009 from a Tornado 5 channel amp via a cross over . Amp is 2000w 4 channels are for the 6X9's & the 5th channel is only for sub. I will never sell that amp as i kicks. I use it in my 15 seater bus & people can hear me coming down the road

The foam on my kfc w3000 is destroyed

There are kits available to repair speaker surrounds (aka foam). Here's a link to one of them:

Just a side note: repaired speakers will never sound the same. I repaired my subs a few years ago and was unhappy with the resultant sound so I purchased new ones. Personal experience.

Are you buying or looking to sell them and are they used or are they new? They are discontinued and from the looks of it were about a 60 dollar sub new.

Does this boss chaos c550 amp match up to perform correctly with 2 12inch kenwood peak power 600 watt magnet 500g (17.6)oz impedence 4 ohm kfc-w300s speakers

It's not bad, but at 400 watts, it's a bit underpowered
It'll be plenty loud, but the amp will distort before the speakers do, particularly if your subs are wired in parallel (as dual-driver boxes are typically wired)

Listen for distortion, and turn it down a bit if the sound gets fuzzy or static-y sounding

it depends on how loud you want it. If you are looking for it just too wok good, 400 watts would be good. don't exceed 1200 watts peak.

find the rms rating of the sub and compare it to the amp.if the rms of the amp is higher than the sub you have enough power to push the sub.if its lower look at the rms of the amp if it can be bridged.you would like to see the rms matched to the sub or subs if you have enough power.

They are not wanting to play like they should

Hello again debrahood196,

Your KAC-5204 amp is only rated to put out 60 watts per channel and really cannot push very hard. If your subs are the KFC-W110S, they are 8ohm subs and you will get better power from the amp by using the bridged connections, positive (+) on the left channel and negative (-) on the right channel. Wire both positives and both negatives from both subs to the bridged connections and the output will be 150 watts into 4ohms. Giving each sub 75 watts should make them push a little harder.
