SOURCE: dryer squeak

Your issue is as follows;
"My G. E. dryer make squeaking noise when the drum is turning. However, it only during so, when load with cloths."

Based on the information provided above, I am unable to access my database to provide you with exacting information. You did not provide a valid model number, however, I have provided some common solutions to help guide you in your search.

My Solution is:
If your dryer is noisy, check these:

Rollers
Idler pulley
Glides
Rear drum bearing
Blower wheel
Rollers Many dryers use rollers or wheels to support the clothes drum. When these rollers are worn, they can be noisy. You should replace the whole set of rollers at the same time.

Idler pulley Dryers have a tension or idler pulley that keeps tension on the main drive belt. When it's worn, it can be noisy. When that happens, don't lubricate it. Just replace it.

Glides Many dryers use nylon or plastic glides at the front of the clothes drum for support. When these are worn, they can be noisy. When that happens, replace them.

Following the link below will provide some information on G.E. dryers.
http://www.repairclinic.com/SmartSearch/SSPartDetail.aspx?PartID=784658&PPStack=1

Following the link below shows disassembly procedures for most G.E. models.
http://www.repairclinic.com/0100_20.asp

Rear drum bearing: Most common failure Some dryers support the clothes drum in the rear with a center spindle instead of rollers. The spindle may be a ball-and-socket type support or a shaft through a sleeve. When the components are worn, they may squeak, squeal, or rub. You can't repair them. Just replace them when they're worn.

Blower wheel Your dryer's blower wheel pulls air over the heat source, through the clothes drum, and past the thermostats, then pushes it out the exhaust duct. The blower wheel, which is usually plastic, may wear out over time. But if it's noisy, it may simply be clogged with lint. Clean the blower and test to see if the dryer is still noisy. If it is, you probably need to replace it.

In an effort to improve the quality of my answers, please show your appreciation by rating my solution.
Thank you,
Dave E. (Illeagle)

SOURCE: Maytag Neptune Dryer Model # MDE3000AYW

Motor malfunctions usually call for service by a professional. There are three main causes of motor failure: lack of lubrication, a defective motor switch, or worn or frozen bearings. A humming sound can be related to a burned-out motor or a defective switch. Check these trouble spots before you call a professional service person or take the motor to a repair shop. Here's how to check a dryer motor:
Step 1: Remove the back access panel. Then reach behind the drum, motor pulley, and idler arm pulley. If these areas are clogged with dirt and lint, undue strain on the motor may be causing the humming noise. Worn or broken belts can also cause a humming noise. Check the belts for wear and damage. If the belts look all right, you may be able to stop the noise by spraying them with fan belt dressing, available at automotive and hardware stores and home centers.
Step 2: Turn the dryer on. The noise you hear may be the whirl of the spinning drum, not the motor. Some noise is normal.
Step 3: Force a little 20-weight nondetergent motor oil (not all-purpose oil) around the ends of the motor shaft. This lubrication may stop the humming noise. If this doesn't solve the problem, remove the motor and take it to a professional service person. The centrifugal switch on the dryer motor may be located on top of the motor. Humming, no motor power, and no heat can be caused by a faulty centrifugal switch. If the switch is externally mounted, check the terminals of the switch to make sure they are tight and not burned. If you spot trouble, remove the switch and take it to a professional service person for testing. A faulty switch will probably have to be replaced. Some centrifugal switches are located inside the motor housing; you won't be able to remove the switch in this case. Remove the entire motor and take it to a professional for repairs.
If the motor hums, but won't run the pulley on the end of the motor shaft, try turning the pulley by hand.Caution: Before turning the pulley, make sure the power to the dryer is turned off.

SOURCE: dryer makes squeaking noise

If it has not been squeaking for an extended time you can get by with just changing the rear drum sleeve bearing (WE3X75). To do this, open dryer door, remove screws going up into top, allowing top to swing up and back. Remove screw holding front panel to side panel near top just under where the top was. Tilt front panel forward and lift off bottom pegs. Swing to side (you don't have to remove wires). Pull drum forward about 6 inches. (you don't even have to remove the belt.) Change sleeve at center back of drum. Make sure to inspect the front drum support slides WE1M481dark ones and WE1M333 white ones (about 1/2 inch x 2.5 inch strips at the top of the front panel which support the front of the drum), as about the time the rear bearing goes, these may be wearing also, especially the one on the left side.

SOURCE: Kenmore Dryer 110 is making a loud squeaking noise.

Only a few things will make that noise. The squeaking is caused by a moving part having trouble turning while rubbing against a fixed part.

  1. The idler pulley is worn
  2. The drum support rollers are hard turning on their shafts
  3. The felt seals at the front or back of the drum is worn allowing metal to metal contact while turning
  4. An article has fallen into the housing around the blower wheel and the wheel is rubbing on it.
Listen for the frequency of the sound. The drum rollers and drum felts will squeak at the frequency of the tub turning. The idler pulley turns much faster as does the blower wheel. Knowing this will help pin down the cause.
