If you have multiple phones for your base and they both have a lot of static, I suggest you check your base. Either it's transmitting poorly or it's in an area with too much interference to the signal from base to sets. Can u give more detail as to what you tried so far and what is around your base (like electrical appliances, wiring etc...?
i have the same problem with my g-track on a macbook im just going to take the thing back
it works for a feww min when i first start recording the is falls apart
Lots of static when I turn it on. Changing the channels does not work. Having no onother appliance plugged into the outlet doesn't work. Moving it away from other appliances doesn't work. What should I do?
Time for a new phone. Most likely there are some bad solder connections and they could be anywhere. A 2 year old battery should not cause such severe problems so I'd spend the money on a new phone before a new battery.
