If u not put the key in, but u turn the unit on, its turns the car into ignition mode as well?
In this case pull out the illumination cable from the ISO connector (from the unit side) and insulate.
Its the white/orange or white/blue cable (can be defferent in some models), that will solve youre problem.

It sounds like your memory and battery power wires are connected together.
