Unfortunately if you overheated your engine, you more than likely seized it up or did some serious damage to the pistion, rod and rings. Fill til the oil level is right, crank engine over and let run for about 30 seconds and re-check oil level. I will forewarn you though that if you overheated your engine and it shut down (probably abruptly I assume) you are going to need to have it rebuilt. Easy to do if you know about those things but expensive if you don't

I have a 4 year old Bosch Ecologixx 7 self cleaning condenser dryer, WTW86561GB/02. The problem is after 10 minutes the machine just switches off, and the display panel goes dark

sounds like the thermal safety overload is cutting the power due to overheating hence why it just turns back on after a certain time, when the safety overload reaches a certain temperature it will cut the power to the machine or in some cases just the heating elements, once it cools down it resets and power is restored and by using the warm setting it obviously isn't as hot so its not overheating, its highly likely it is all blocked up internally with lint (i know it says self cleaning but they never work for more than a few years before requiring a proper clean and service)

My Daewoo freezer is not working since yesterday, we tried to change the fuse but it just works for 15 seconds then,it stops we don't know why can you help please?

I would think that the compressor is either overheating, or faulty and cutting out on a Thermal overload cut out device fitted to the compressor.
If it is overheating, then it could be due to several problems:
1] Ventilation to the compressor is poor, or blocked.
2] compressor Cooling fan failed ( not fitted on all models)
3] Condensor blocked ( Not fitted on all models) This looks like a small car radiator in the compessor compartment (if fitted?).
Turn the fridge off, and leave it for up to 2 hours to cool, once cool, ensure that the ventilation is good around the compressor compartment, and try it again. If it starts and runs as normal it may have just overheated. If there is a fan fitted in the compressor compartment, then observe if it is working or not when you turn it back on.
If the compressor cuts out again, as you have described, trhen it is more than likely that the compressor has failed and needs replacing.
This is not a job that a novice can do, and will be expensive to have replaced by a Refrigeration engineer.
I hope this helps?

Why won't my toro model 71225 15 horse hXL m554201196. Will not pick leaves

I do not pick up leaves. I just keep mowing over them until they are very small pieces. Over the winter they decompose and fertilize the lawn.

All lights lit up with the number 46 on timer

Hi Juan Abrante,
I understand that you are getting all the lights lit up with the number 46 showing on the display. What this can be is an error code. Error 46 means that it could either mean that the different control boards are miscommunicating or something is wrong with the main control board itself. Try resetting the washer for at least 3 minutes by either unplugging the appliance or cutting the power at the circuit breaker. When you do this, leave the power cut for at least 3 minutes. Bring the power back to the appliance and try starting it back up. If you are still receiving that 46 on the display, I would recommend getting a hold of the manufacturer for more help.

I replaced a one horse flotec sprinkler pump with a 1 1/2 horse pump. the one horse was wired at 115 volt/ 20 amp 12 gauge wire. the new pump is blowing the breaker.any suggestions ?

Your best solution would be to convert the circuit over to 230V assuming only the pump is on the breaker. Changing it to 230V will cut the amp draw in half and allow for the 12AWG wire to carry the load. You could increase the breaker rating but the wire is to small for the load and keeping it will lead to future problems if you leave the circuit as 115VAC.

Using T-84 Andis blade for horses and cutting

Check the two screws either side of the hinge assembly make sure they are tight, the problem appears to be with the clipper if all blades do the same.

McColluch Model 610

I used to think it was 3- Half turns. But just now discovered on a Poulin Pro, about 1-year old, this was to much. Flooded. Went with, screwing all the way in, and then backing both H and L out just 1-full turn (2-Halves). Perfect. From older models of 2-stroke motors, if, when you pull trigger, there is a lag in acceleration, then open the L little more, till lag is gone. Then at wide open, turn H in little till motor is at it highest RPM (or out, which ever makes it fastest), then back out the H about 1/4 turn. You are finding its most lean point (highest RPM) but, you want to run it slightly rich for most horse power when motor loaded i.e. cutting.
