hmmmm its sounds like you don't have proper driver installed for your display...

See on the Display Properties window in Settings tab, is it?

    Display:

Plug and Play Monitor on Standar VGA/SVGA .....

If so then you have to install driver for your display.

And if driver is ok, then please tell me whats going on when you Drag the pointer to Choose resolution.

    Thanks

Can i put 2x2gb ram in k9vgm-v motherboard

It should specs say:
• Supports Dual DDR II 533/667/800
- 2 DDRII DIMMs (240pin / 1.8V)
- Supports a maximum memory size up to 2GB.
Most systems will pick up the 4GB, but Windows 32Bit has a 3GB limitation.
