try unplugging the pto then start the mower next engage the blades and see if the fuse blows if it does the problem lies in the mowers wiring if not the problem lies in the pto. hope this helps

What battery did you put in? Can you provide details of the battery? if you're using a 4gs or 5gs battery try using a lower one. The amount of voltage the battery releases when you fire up the blades could be causing the fuse to overload and thus blow.

could be a safety switch add a light to the plug that goes to the clutch and see if it goes out when the blades shut off this will tell you if its before or after the switches

Hi, check or replace the switch on the seat, basically its not telling the safety system that you are on the seat. Regards Phil.
