Go to control pannel then go to addremove programs , check out the dell dock program from the list click on uninstall and it will be done, if still you are not abel to uninstall then google revo uninstaller free download , download the software and throught it you can uninstall any program that you want , but make sure you so it on moderate level and delet all registry files as it will give an option to delete the registry entries.
Hope this should resolve the issue .

I use a dell inspiron. my dell dock stopped working. the dell service said that i had to remove my entire hard drive...i just want the dell dock uninstalled. i don't use it and don't want it. can i do that...

It is possible. If you are able to logon to your computer, go to 'Add and Remove Programs' in Windows XP or 'Programs and Features' in Windows Vista and 7. Click on Dell Dock in the list, and click on Remove/Uninstall.
If you are not even able to logon to windows in the normal mode, try uninstalling the Dell Dock in safemode. If the uninstaller doesn't work in safemode, you can disable the Dock from the startup items in Safemode. To do this, type 'msconfig' in Run box in safemode, click on Startups tab and uncheck Dell Dock from the list. Restart your computer normally and try uninstalling the Dell Dock.

Some keys stop working on keyboard

The particular keyboardpart must have gone. I had his problem with my Dell some years back. I removed the entire laptop, removed and reinstalled teh keyboard wire to the motherboard..and the problem did not arise. Happens whenever over heating occurs.

Laptop won't dock

The inspiron 600M will not function in a D-Dock, but will work in a D-Series port Replicator. (Although the D600 and 600M share the same motherboard, the bottom plastics are different)

After trying the 600M in the D-Dock, it is possible the dock is damaged. I would undock the D630, then delete the docked profile. power off, dock, and reboot and see if it detects and works.

Ethernet in Docking Station

Some docking stations require device drivers in order for the ports to work. Try the link bellow for any drivers that are for the docking station. They're generally under utilities or applications, but could be else where. If there are no drivers, or if they don't work, then I suggest having the port checked. It could be a bad port. Also try any updated ethernet drivers for the machine, if it uses the machines integrated ethernet, then it could be the controller driver as well.
