Question about Lexmark Wheelwriter 15 Series II Typewriter
One morning I cleaned the the ibm Wheelwriter Series 11 typewriter and when I turn it on to use it I only can type half the letters. I check eyerything I could think of and still not working.

If it is only typing the top half of the letters the platen may not be fully seated in the side frames, push down firmly on both ends of the platen it should snap into place.

It sounds like the Platen roller has popped up out of place on one side. Try pushing down on the black rubber roller (platen roller) on both ends. It is held in place by two black plastic clips that are attached to the roller ends and one of them may be broken. But usually it has just popped up on one side and pushing it down usually solves this problem.
