Hi, it sounds like hardware problem. Try send back Lenovo claims warranty. If over warranty, try get a low profile network card fix in and try. This model H520s is integrated board that all components surface mount.
I'm assuming your OS, is windows Xp since that is the driver you are installing it for. Try uninstalling the driver by right clicking my computer -> manager -> device manager -> Network Adapters and underneath it click uninstall. Then try reinstalling. If that still doesn't work try installing a previous driver, such as this one: http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/thinkcentre_drivers/q3etn12us13.exe
And that should work definitely work for you. Please make sure you have Windows XP and not Windows 7 32 or 64 bit.
You can download the missing drivers from here: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/product.do?template=/product.do?template=%2Fproductpage%2Flandingpages%2FproductPageLandingPage.vm&sitestyle=lenovo&brandind=11&familyind=121125&machineind=121227&modelind=0&partnumberind=0&subcategoryind=0&doctypeind=9&doccategoryind=0&operatingsystemind=121210&validate=true
hit the f8 key several times while it is rebooting and go the screen that allows you boot to windows, boot to last know good confifguration, boot to safe mode, etc... screen. On this menu you will find a selection that will allow you to stop the blue screen on the error. The error will tell you what the problem is. However from previous experience I can tell you that more than likely you will have to reinstall Windows. If you haven't backed up your data and need to recover it, It might be a good idea to setup the disk as an external drive or secondary (slave) drive on another computer, copy your data to a flashdisk or other backup device, reinstall your hdd as master/primary drive, boot to cd and reinstall windows. Have fun, let me know how it goes.
