Some how your question got posted in the plumbing section under bathtubs. I am a plumber and do not think I would be qualified to answer your question, but you may want to repost it under another heading. Hope this helps.

What do baby 11/2 months eat

6 week old babies don't really eat food, you should really be feeding natural milk direct from the babies mother, if you are unable or do not want to feed from the mother there are many baby specific milks on sale. Note that some babies will not take some of these so you may have to swap until you get the 1 that is liked. Hope this helps

When can i start giving baby food to my child?

Most doctors and health agencies suggest waiting about 6 months before introducing baby food in babys' diets. Usually they suggest waiting for signs of his being ready, like sitting up without help and active interest in food that others are eating.

Is baby food only milk and baby formulas?

Baby food is any that presents itself or is made into a soft, easily consumed form. It can be the same food that the rest of the family is eating, but mashed or minced really small, or food products purchasable in stores, made specifically for babies.

Can you use sleep medication for babies? My 6 month old has terrible sleeping patterns and we are exhausted. A family friend suggested we use a sedative. Is that ok?

You should never give babies any drugs unsupervised. It can be really dangerous. I know it's really hard to be sleep deprived when you have young kids but medicating them isn't the answer. You can get advice and support for the sleep issues and definitely speak to your doctor about it, but don't ever give medication without medical supervision.

Burners sound like they are starving for gas.

New tubes, yes, but did you check each burner hole to make sure it is not clogged? Food and grease are frequent problems with the burners as the stuff drips onto them from above.

My baby girl is now 13 months old. I'm still feeding her Nestle Gerber "protect plus" formula around 500ml/day. Nurses have recommended me to switch her to cow's milk because formula would give...

Hi, Babies who are taking to solids normally should not be on formula after a year. The nurses were right, but I understand your anxiety in trusting them. I am however, a mother of almost 10 babies! No one stayed on formula past a year. My paternal grandmother (retired dir. of nursing) and my maternal grandmother(greatest mother on earth) agree! You may want to start week by week adding 2oz of cow or almond milk (whatever you drink-just not skim) to the formula she is already drinking just to keep an eye on allergies and to ease her little belly into reg. milk until she is taking 100% milk.
