It doesn't power up. It had been complaining about low power on the battery. But shouldn't it power up with the power adapter?

The battery it had been complaining about is on the motherboard. Not a huge deal to swap out, and fairly inexpensive.

Rust appearing on 10 month old refridgerator doors

How can I put this nicely.
TAKE IT BACK!!!!!! First moisture is forming where it shouldn't, air leak/door gasket not sealing, and second stainless doesn't rust. If rust is forming than it's of poor quality. More iron in it than steel. Isn't there atleast a one year warranty? Don't wait! Till it's too late. Complain NOW!!!

Battery doesn't hold charge for more than a week

All batteries will eventually fail to hold a charge. The battery chemistry and how you charge it can change how long the battery will last. The DMC-FS4 has a Lithium-ion battery so it shouldn't have as much of the memory issue of older rechargeable batteries. (This is the "you routinely recharge the battery when it's at 50% then it always stops working at 50% charge" problem.)

How old is your battery? Eventually you will need a new battery but the time to replacement will depend on the number of recharge cycles. With a Li-ion battery, I'd expect several thousand recharges before failure. Temperature and usage will effect this. The battery does lose charge even when not used.

Be careful, some versions of the firmware look for Panasonic's specific batteries or a "that match the Panasonic rigorous specs".

I've seen a few devices where the charger failed before the battery. If a new battery doesn't seem to be charging, replace the charger. I hope this helps.

Toshiba satellite turns on but power light blinks and screen is blank

Start as basic as you can, remove everything you can, RAM, HDD, modem (if equipped), WiFi card, optical drive, etc. It should beep when powered up, complaining about missing RAM. Install RAM and see if you can get it to POST. If so, install 1 item at a time until it stops working. Bad part found.

If it doesn't complain about the ram, it's probably a bad system board. If it does complain, but doesn't post with the RAM in, it could be still be a bad stick of RAM or a bad RAM socket on the board, try one at a time, and in each of the sockets.

Fan stays running by itself sometimes , only one speed

It should stay on for a bit. Make sure your temperature gauge doesn't rise and that you are not low on coolant. If those two things are OK you shouldn't have a problem. You might need a new thermostat if those two things are OK.

My controller will connect to my xbox for like a second then it shuts off?

oh no! you discovered that your remote has a thing i call"disconnection" OK don't panic,i think i can help... just like with the Wii remote i have these troubles too. OK,on the thing that it connects too...(kinda like the black thing you have to put on the top of your TV on the Wii) there is a built in connector that helps u get your Xbox controller to connect to play games. if there is anything on top of your Xbox such as shoes, video games, clothes or anything else that shouldn't be on it, take those things off. then try it. if that doesn't work, then you might have low battery on your controller. just replace it with new batteries, i know it sounds stupid but just try it. but,if that doesn't work, try a different controller, cause the one u have might be broken...

My mp3 U5 blue colour has stopped working... t got stuck and is jus diplaying a song.. not playing and not switching off too... help pls

First of all, I would let the battery on the device die down(let the battery run until it switches off). Then plug it into a power source. Then see if it works. If that doesn't work I would consider returning it. It shouldn't delete your songs and there should be no long term negative effects.

Camera turns off itself

This is likely because:
  1. You are using the wrong types of batteries (Alkaline, Ni-Cd or Ni-MH batteries are recommended for digital cameras) NOTE: don't mix different types.
  2. The battery is out of charging cycles and won't retain charge. (Most rechargeable batteries can be charged only about 1000 times after which they won't hold charge)
  3. The batteries aren't 'powerful' enough. (low quality rechargeable batteries with low capacity shouldn't be used on digital cameras, Always buy batteries specialized for cameras (from camera stores or studios))
  4. The wrong battery type is selected in the camera's settings. (Most cameras let you select the type of battery you are using from it's settings. Browse through the settings and see if this is the problem)
Hope that fixed it. Good luck.

Blackberry 9700, no power/ blackout

Hello,

Have you try another battery with the phone to see if it will power on, if you have and yet the phone is not powering up, then maybe you need to do a hard reset on the phone. You can perform a soft reset, which is done by pressing the ALT + CAP + DELETE keys on your handheld at the same time. If this doesn’t work, perform a hard reset. This is done by finding the RESET button at the back of the handheld. Sometimes, this button might be near the bottom, under the battery cover. Press the RESET button using a pin or paper clip. With either method, you shouldn’t lose any data.

Take care.

Low battery warning, how do i stop it as it is now the middle of the night and I can't go to a store till next morning?

Remove the battery. If it has a low battery because it have no online power, restore that power. If it has online power and stills complains about not having a battery, cut power to it. If there's a silence or clear button, try that. If it's a monitored system, the company may be able to silence it for you.
